Queensland does not have a summer/winter racing distinction, but the start of spring makes you feel like it’s all about to happen.

That’s the way it is at Paul Duncan’s stable.

Headline acts can be expected to head towards resumption – Genuine Al and TavisTown are totally refreshed from their breaks, but it is un-raced newcomers Paul is equally excited about.

ATLANTIC EAGLE is a big, strong filly by, as the name suggests, by emerging sire Atlante, sire of Genuine Al. She has been well educated in NZ and is taking to her final stages of preparation with the dedication good horses have.

“I’m impressed. Everything about her suggests she is going to be a good racehorse,” says Paul.

It happened by coincidence, but Paul is not at all disappointed his two latest import fillies Atlantic Eagle and, wait for it, ORDINARY, are by sires from which he’s had his most recent success with, Atlante and El Hermano.

Atlante sired Genuine Al, who is headed for the top, and El Hermano, by champion sire PINS, left MOOD, twice a stylish winner at Caloundra in only a handful of starts from the stable.

They say horse names mean nothing because the horses themselves don’t know, But ORDINARY ?? Okay, she was named in NZ LOL.

She is anything but ordinary. She’s lively, attentive and looks to have that winning attitude inside the racy body.

“She has been well educated in NZ and is coming up beautifully,” says Paul.
BOTH of these fillies are available with favourable Right Of Purchase arrangements.

Initial cost is $1000 per 10% share to cover expenses getting the fillies over from New Zealand and beyond that just monthly training fees….$375 — $450 per month per 10% share.
