Ridden by Karl Zechner and jumping form an inside gate in the field of twelve, Zechner was happy to settle the son of the Roc De Cambes midfield on the fence.
Holding this position as the field raced through the first 1000m, it was passing the 600m that Zechner and Glen Massey, made their move.
Angling away from the fence, Glen Massey quickly circled the field and began his run, joining the leading group four and five wide as the field rounded the turn.
At the 300m, Glen Massey hit the front and was strong over the concluding stages, running away to win by a length on the line.
